And if so what is the best way to rat on this place keeping in mind the owner is the scum of the earth and he treats his workers like sh** and really needs to be taken down what is the best coarse of action to take?
Sorry for the misspelling. And yes I am out to get the son of a B*** and so is half the people I know he is as I already stated scum. And he really is selling false "organic" food.

In order to use the term organic in any food marketing such as stating such on a menu or table tents the food has to come from certified organic sources and copies of the certification papers from every source must be on file.

How is Organic food NOTT healthier for you?

By admin On March 10, 2010 2 COMMENTs

I have to write an essay talking from the stand that Organic Food isn’t healthier? I need a couple of main points for my essay as well as some evidence. Please help

One of the major reasons that you should consider going organic is to avoid consumption of fruits and vegetables that are sprayed with harmful pesticides. This is because exposure to pesticides leads to several diseases and complications especially in children. Organic farming is carried without the use of chemicals in the fertilizers and pesticides with the help of natural fertilizers and methods. They are considered to be more healthy and environment friendly than conventionally grown foods. To read more see http://www.medimanage.com/my-diet/articles/going-organic.aspx

Someone said organic food was a trend, How is that possible when people have eaten organic since the dawn of ?

By admin On March 9, 2010 2 COMMENTs

time and have only started eating non organic food withen the last few hundred years?
Africa is nowhere near as fertile as the Americas and Europe but that’s completely off topic lol.

The "trend" is that Organic Food is superior to processed, sterilized or treated fruits, veggies and meats (a more recent phenomenon). This is probably true but I think people go to gung ho with the concept and drive their food bills through the roof. if one can afford it, I suppose it is the way to go but.. compared to the American diet of fast food, processed sugars and flours and junk food, even eating a vegetable sprayed with fertilizer or eating a lean meat grown at a farm is far superior.

Is there a taste difference between organic and non-organic food?

By admin On March 8, 2010 9 COMMENTs

I am well aware of the health benefits of Organic Food, but I was wondering if most people can taste a difference between the two. I am also curious about the taste of organic meat (100% grass fed cows, no injected hormones/antibiotics, etc) vs regular meat.

P.S. I put this in Alternative Medicine because I figured that most people who read this category would be familiar with this food choice.

Organic food is richer in taste and in many cases harder to come by and alot more expensive!

I had organic home grown vegetables and some fruits except for two years now. I can tell the difference in taste immensively!

I can’t stand the taste of some frozen foods because you can taste the processing of it.. IT’S HORRIBLE!

ORGANIC IS MUCH BETTER THAN INORGANIC!!

If you know any websites that may be able to help please add them too.

What’s the effect of the organic food movement on world hunger?

By admin On March 6, 2010 4 COMMENTs

The organic/non genetically modified food movement has been quickly gaining steam as of late. Agriculture currently is not fullfilling the world wide demand causing widespread starvation (just ask Sally Struthers…). Considering that yields are significantly lower (and more expensive) with organic farming than mainstream farming methods I ask the following two questions. What percentage of world food demands are being met now, and what percentage would be met if all farming became organic/non-GM?

actually the organic movement has increased world hunger. Organic yields are lower. Nations have denied food assistance based on the fact the donations were not organic. Zimbabwe is an example of that. Thousands of people starved while the government of Z argued about the genetic nature of a warehouse of corn donated by the US. Most consumers worldwide prefer organic but refuse to pay organic prices. My clients in Asia run into this problems and lose money on
